If you like to indulge in a drink every now and then, keep your cash at home if you intend to do your consuming in a casino. I am not joking. Empty your handbag, your money belt, and keep all cash, bank cards and checks at home. Take just the money you intend to spend on beverages, tips and whatever loose change you intend to lose and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Realistic really. You might well experience a success after a boozy evening out with your friends and be fortunate enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps table. Hold on to that account because it’s as brief as it gets if you constantly drink and wager. The two simply do not mix.

Leaving your cash at home is a little drastic, however defensive measures for drastic behavior is proportionate and required. If you compete to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you are able to manage to toss away your cash without a worry, then consume all the no cost booze your gut can hold, but do not take credit cards and cheques to toss into the combination of chasing losses once your inebriated brain loses all the cash!
